Job summary
ICare Group in Thornton (FY5) is seeking Home Care Workers to support clients at home with dignity and independence. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required to travel between clients across Thornton and surrounding areas. We offer training, support and flexible hours from 7am to 10pm, plus a welcome bonus and mileage reimbursements.
Weekly pay and a pension scheme are provided. Join a caring team dedicated to helping people stay in their own homes.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Access to own vehicle required.
- Willingness to travel across Thornton (FY5) and surrounding areas.
- Willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already held.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
- Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.
- Support with meal preparation and nutrition.
- Provide medication prompts and follow care plans.
- Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
- Assist with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Build positive relationships with clients and uphold person-centred care.
- Promote independence and choice in daily activities.
- Travel between clients' homes within the local community.
