Job summary

ICare Group in Trafford and Urmston is seeking Home Care Assistants with a driving role. You will support people at home, helping maintain independence and wellbeing, while travelling between clients in the local community. Full training is provided and mileage is paid between calls.

We value compassion, reliability and a flexible approach, with opportunities for career development and ongoing support from the team. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have access to your own vehicle
• Be able to travel throughout the Trafford area
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
• Provide medication prompts and support per care plans
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks
• Support with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Build positive relationships with the people you support
• Promote independence and person-centred care
• Work as part of a supportive care team
• Travel between clients' homes across the local community
