Job summary

ICare Group in Runcorn is seeking Home Care Assistants (Driver) to support people in their own homes across the local area. You will help clients stay independent, maintain dignity and overall wellbeing with compassionate, person-centred care.

Applicants should have care experience in the UK, a valid right to work in the UK, access to a vehicle and be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if needed. Sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Support with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Following care plans, policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team.
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community.
