Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a team of PAs to support an individual in their home in Glossop on a 2:1 basis. PAs should be reliable, patient and provide respectful, caring personal care while meeting daily needs.

Responsibilities include dressing and washing assistance, bedding changes, moving and handling support, light lunch prep, and promoting safety, independence and wellbeing at all times within a clean and comfortable home environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable and patient individuals are required.
• Able to provide care in a respectful and caring manner.
• Willingness to work on a 2:1 support basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including dressing and washing.
• Occasionally change bedding and towels.
• Assist with moving and handling.
• Assist with light, pre-made lunch preparation.
• Promote independence, safety and wellbeing at all times.
