Job summary

Bluebird Care Calderdale and Bradford is hiring Care Assistants to support customers in their own homes across Halifax and Brighouse. You will visit clients, provide compassionate care, and help with daily activities with full training provided.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own car, a flexible approach to shifts (7am–2pm and 4pm–10pm), and a commitment to safeguarding and independence at home.

Qualifications

• No formal care experience required; full training provided.
• Able to drive with a full UK licence and own car.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and travel to customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their own homes to provide support based on individual needs.
• Assist with personal care such as washing and dressing as required.
• Support with medication, meals, light housekeeping and companionship.
• Help customers stay safe, happy and independent at home and follow care plans.
