Job summary

Affinity Homecare is seeking caring Care Assistants to support adults in their own homes across Oswestry and surrounding areas. You will help with daily living activities, meals, medication, and companionship, delivering respectful, person-centred care.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; an Enhanced DBS check is required. The role offers full-time and part-time permanent positions with mileage support and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training provided.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care - assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Meal Preparation - prepare nutritious meals per dietary needs.
• Administration of Medication - ensure timely intake of prescribed meds.
• Housekeeping - light cleaning, laundry and tidying living spaces.
• Emotional Support and Companionship - provide engagement and conversation.
• Transportation - assist clients to appointments and social activities.
• Health Monitoring - report changes to health to appropriate professionals.
• Documentation - keep accurate daily logs and incident reports.
• Advocacy - support clients’ rights and dignity.
