Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support people in their own homes, helping with daily routines, personal care, meals, companionship and medication assistance.

This role welcomes compassionate individuals with excellent people skills and a team spirit. No prior care experience required; 12+ months right to work in the UK; flexible weekend work; fully funded training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• A warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care in clients' own homes.
• Assist with shopping, meals, and making a cup of tea for clients.
• Provide companionship and a listening ear for clients.
• Assist with medication as required.
