Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support individuals in their own homes, helping with daily routines, meals, and personal care. You will provide companionship, assist with shopping, and help with medication where needed, in a caring and supportive environment.

No prior care experience is required; a warm, compassionate nature and a team-focused attitude are essential. A full UK driving licence and flexibility for weekends are also important.

Qualifications

• A warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Ability to hold a full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
• Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining (no sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily routines, household tasks and personal care
• Assisting with shopping, meals, and making hot drinks
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with medication as needed
