Job summary

Visiting Angels North Shropshire is seeking a Home Care Assistant to help clients stay independent at home. You’ll provide personal care, companionship and support with daily tasks, with training and ongoing support provided by a nationally recognised home care group.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time roles, competitive hourly rates including Bank Holidays, and paid travel time to ensure a positive, rewarding role in care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A dependable and professional approach.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in care is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and drinks.
• Support medication routines.
• Help with light household tasks.
• Assist with day-to-day activities.
