Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Home Care Assistants in Manchester who can deliver compassionate in-home support. You will provide personal care, meal preparation and daily activities, travelling between clients across the local community. The role emphasizes dignity, independence and a person-centred approach.

No sponsorship availability is currently offered. Training, support, and development are provided to help you succeed in a caring, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Manchester area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Support with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Support with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Build positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promote independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Work as part of a supportive and dedicated care team.
• Travel between clients' homes across the local community.
