Job summary

ICare Group in Runcorn (WA7) is seeking a Home Care Assistant with a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. You will travel across the local community, provide compassionate personal care at clients’ homes and support independence.

Full induction and ongoing training are provided; you will join a supportive care team delivering dignity, wellbeing and quality of life to people in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Runcorn (WA7) area.
• Have a valid right to work in the UK; and
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Support with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support per care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Assist with light household tasks and maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Build positive, professional relationships with the people you support.
• Promote independence, choice and person-centred care.
• Work as part of a supportive care team.
• Travel between clients' homes across the local community.
