Job summary

Dales Community Care is seeking Care Assistants to support people in their own homes in Skipton and surrounding areas. You will help clients stay happy and independent, providing person-centred care and companionship.

Shifts are 7:00am–2:00pm and/or 4:00pm–10:00pm with alternate weekends required. A full UK driving licence is essential to apply. Training and DBS checks are provided along with wellbeing support and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Caring and compassionate individuals encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, promoting dignity, choice and independence.
• Medication support and health monitoring.
• Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs.
• Light household tasks to keep homes safe and comfortable.
• Companionship, conversation and emotional support.
• Building positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Working alongside healthcare professionals when required.
