Job summary

Dales Community Care is seeking caring Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes in Barnoldswick, Yorkshire. You’ll promote independence, provide personal care, meals, companionship, and health monitoring. Join a friendly team and enjoy ongoing training and DBS support.

We welcome both experienced carers and those starting a career in care who share a genuine desire to help others, with shifts 7:00am-2:00pm and/or 4:00pm-10:00pm and alternate weekends required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Warm, patient and supportive care mindset.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Good communicator with people.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred in-home care and support
• Assist with personal care while promoting dignity and independence
• Medication support and health monitoring
• Prepare meals and support nutritional needs
• Carry out light household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when required
