This role requires at least 6 months’ UK care home experience and a strong commitment to person-centred care. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and report health changes to the team.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience within a UK care home or nursing home (essential).
• Genuine passion for helping others and promoting dignity and independence.
• Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations.
• Good communication skills (written & verbal).
• Positive team-focused attitude.
• Caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development.
• NVQ Level 2 or working towards it (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes, and social activities.
• Promote independence, choice, and dignity in every interaction.
• Observe and report on changes in residents’ health and well‑being.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure exceptional, person-centred care.
• Communicate openly and respectfully with colleagues, residents, and their loved ones.
