Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents in a complex care home. You will help with daily living, meals, mobility, and companionship, guided by individual care plans.

You will work with a compassionate team in a newly refurbished setting, receiving training and ongoing support from management to deliver the highest standard of care to residents with dementia, MS, neuro rehab and Huntington’s disease.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for older people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Empathy and warmth in daily interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks as per care plans.
• Support residents with meals, hydration and mobility.
• Provide one-to-one time and companionship for residents.
