Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months recent experience as a Care Assistant, Carer, or HCA in UK care settings.
- Care Certificate and NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 preferred.
- Strong practical skills in manual handling and safeguarding adults.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment and safe handling techniques.
- Support meals and monitor dietary needs and logs.
- Assist with bedtime routines and continence management.
- Provide compassionate care to residents with dementia and cognitive impairment.
- Engage residents in social activities and cognitive stimulation.
