Job summary
Evolve Staffing Ltd is seeking compassionate Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to join care teams across Staplehurst and surrounding areas in Kent. The role focuses on person-centred care for elderly residents, including those with dementia, in nursing, residential, and dementia care facilities.
Flexible shifts and competitive pay are offered to fit your availability. Applicants should have at least 6 months UK care experience, relevant qualifications, and robust competency in manual handling,
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months recent experience as a Care Assistant, Carer or HCA within a UK care setting.
- Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 preferred.
- Core skills include manual handling, hoisting, dementia care principles, personal care and safeguarding adults.
- DBS check and right to work in the UK required, with Update Service preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care and daily living assistance (ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment (standing turners, slide sheets, hoists).
- Support meals and dietary requirements; monitor fluids and logs.
- Maintain infection control, PPE usage, and thorough care records & handovers.
