Job summary

Evolve Staffing Ltd in Whaddon, Wiltshire, is seeking compassionate Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to join care teams across local care homes and dementia facilities. Flexible working options and competitive pay support elderly residents’ independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable practical skills in manual handling, hoisting, dementia care principles, personal care and safeguarding adults.
• Care-related qualifications such as Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 are strongly preferred.
• Experience in UK Care Home/Nursing Home settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support mobility and safe transfers using appropriate equipment.
• Assist residents with meals, dietary needs, and hydration records.
• Maintain cleanliness, bedding, and safe, hygienic environments.
• Record daily care notes, participate in handovers, and report concerns.
