Job summary

Vida Healthcare is seeking a reliable GP receptionist to join our team on a full- or part-time basis. Shifts run 8:00–18:30, split between morning and afternoon blocks; hours will be discussed at interview. Full training will be provided.

The role is multi-site, covering Gayton Road Health Centre, St Augustine’s Surgery, Hunstanton Medical Practice and Carole Brown Health Centre. You will greet patients, signpost to the correct service, handle bookings by phone and face-to-face, maintain patient

Qualifications

• GCSE level education or equivalent; English is essential.
• GCSE level education or equivalent; English is essential.
• Computer literacy and prior experience expected.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with calm professionalism and signpost to services.
• Provide telephone and face-to-face appointment bookings and cancellations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Support patients with problems or complaints as needed.
• Participate in training and development activities.
