Job summary

Caron Group is a family of care homes across mid and south Wales. We look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to deliver the high-quality care they deserve.

We welcome experienced carers or those new to the sector. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting wellbeing, and adhering to our ethos of dignity, privacy and choice for residents.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 2/3 desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• Passion for elderly care.
• Ability to relate to older people in a sensitive manner.
• Integrity and a compassionate nature.
• Aged 18 or above.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing and feeding.
• Provide care for residents confined to bed.
• Help residents with mobility and use of personal aids.
• Promote residents' mental and physical wellbeing through activities.
• Make beds, tidy rooms, and perform cleaning duties.
• Attend mandatory training and participate in staff meetings.
• Work as a Keyworker to a defined group of residents.
• Night duties: restock incontinence wear and clean areas.
