Job summary

Caron Group provides care homes across mid and south Wales, focusing on residential, nursing and dementia care for older people. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our compassionate team and help us deliver high-quality, relationship-centered care in a friendly family culture.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 2 / 3 (Desirable)
• Good communication skills.
• A passion for providing elderly care.
• Ability to relate to and care for older people in a sensitive manner.
• Integrity and a compassionate nature.
• An understanding of and adherence to Caron Group's ethos.
• Aged 18 or above.
• Safeguarding: employment of individuals 16/17 not permitted for direct personal care roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide adequate care for residents confined to bed.
• Help residents with mobility and use of personal aids and equipment.
• Promote wellbeing through social activities and conversation.
• Make and change beds, tidy rooms, and undertake cleaning duties.
• Inspect, launder, and repair residents' clothing.
• Answer emergency bells, greet visitors, and participate in meetings.
