Job summary

Caron Group is seeking Care Practitioners to join our family of care homes in Swansea and Ammanford. You will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents to deliver high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The role involves helping residents with daily activities, maintaining dignity and respecting individuality, and participating in mandatory training and safety practices. Evening/night duties may be required as part of a team.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 2/3 (Desirable)
• Good communication skills
• A passion for providing elderly care
• Ability to relate to and care for older people in a sensitive manner
• Aged 18 or above

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide care for residents confined to bed.
• Promote residents' mental and physical wellbeing through talking, activities, and recreation.
• Make and change beds, tidy rooms, and undertake cleaning duties.
• Answer emergency bells, greet visitors, and participate in meetings and training as directed.
• Work as a Keyworker for a designated group of residents, ensuring their room is clean with adequate toiletries.
