Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join Rivermere Care Home in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent. You’ll support dining services, help residents with meals, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment.

We value compassion, high hygiene standards and a commitment to delivering quality culinary services for our residents. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial and we welcome candidates with similar hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support dining service and assist residents with meals.
• Help residents choose meal options at dining time.
• Set dining tables in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and remove and replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh cakes/biscuits, finger food and fresh fruit options are available in the bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements.
