Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Rivermere Care Home in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent. You will support dining service and assist residents with meals, contributing to a compassionate, high-quality care environment.

You will ensure tables are set to SOPs, maintain front of house presentation, replenish cakes, finger foods and note residents' dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
