CrossReach is seeking a caring Care Worker to support older people in Scotland, helping with daily routines, personal care, meals, and social engagement. You will foster dignity and independence while building relationships with residents and their families.

The role values compassion, reliability and a positive attitude, with PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration required or pursued. We support learning and development within a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 if not yet held.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
• Encourage independence and individual choice
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures
