Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Care Worker to support older people to live with dignity, independence and comfort. You will help with daily routines, personal care and provide encouragement and companionship to residents.

Join a team that values respect, compassion and person-centred care; PVG and SSSC registration are required, and SVQ Level 3 training is encouraged. You will contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment across our Scottish services.

Qualifications

• Kind, dependable and committed to helping others.
• Willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living.
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage independence and individual choice.
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures.
