Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Care Worker to support older people to live with dignity, independence and comfort within our Scottish care services. You will help with daily routines, personal care and companionship, contributing to residents' wellbeing and sense of value.

All applicants should be committed to our Christian ethos, hold SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare or be working towards it, and be eligible for PVG and SSSC registration. Recruitment support is provided by our team.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare is required.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme is required.
• Registration with the SSSC is required.
• You will be expected to uphold our Christian Ethos.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living.
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage independence and individual choice.
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures.
