Job summary

CrossReach in Scotland seeks a Care Worker to support older people to live safely, comfortably and with dignity each day through practical support, encouragement and companionship.

You will assist residents with personal care, meals, activities and record-keeping, working as part of a team with respect, compassion and a focus on independence.

SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare is preferred; PVG and SSSC registration are required. We offer induction, training and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (preferred)
• PVG Scheme membership required
• SSSC registration required
• Previous care experience welcome but not essential
• Values-focused, willing to learn, and genuinely able to support others

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with meals and encourage nutrition and hydration
• Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
• Encourage participation in activities and social opportunities
