Job summary

Brendoncare Stildon in East Grinstead is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with personal care and daily living activities. You’ll be a reliable, empathetic team member with a passion for helping older people live well and maintain independence.

Roles include acting as a Key Worker, contributing to care plans, recording changes, and assisting with activities. Training and progression opportunities are available within our charity environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and a caring approach are essential.
• Be a team player, reliable and committed and have a natural affinity to older people.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care to residents, person-centred and respects individual choices.
• Acting as a Key Worker to a number of residents and supporting care plans.
• Documenting care in daily notes and informing the shift lead of changes.
• Supporting residents’ families with information and reassurance as appropriate.
• Working with Activities Team to develop engaging activities for residents.
