Job summary
Guild Care is looking for a dedicated Community Care Assistant to provide personal care and practical support to older adults in Worthing and surrounding areas. You will be a friendly, reliable presence, helping with daily living, meals, hygiene, and light housekeeping.
You’ll report changes to the care team, complete records, and participate in ongoing training. Join a local charity with a strong community focus and opportunities for development, a range of benefits, and a flexible shift
Qualifications
- Fluent English communication required.
- Ability to read, write and do basic maths.
- Ability to travel between clients.
- Satisfactory DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Personal care and support with warmth, respect and kindness.
- Assist with daily living activities including hygiene and meals.
- Provide companionship and promote wellbeing and social connection.
- Help with light domestic duties and ensuring cleanliness of care items.
- Assist with local errands and reporting changes to the care team.
- Record time sheets and care plans; participate in training and development.
