Job summary

Brendoncare is a charity delivering care homes, extra care housing, community support and clubs across the South of England. As a Care Assistant - Days in Froxfield, Wiltshire (near Marlborough) you will provide person-centred care, build relationships with residents, and support daily living activities.

We offer 24 or 36 hour contracts with competitive pay (£13.38/hour, rising to £13.72 with NVQ2), weekend/night enhancements, DBS, benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF 2 in Health & Social Care preferred.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Reliable and committed with empathy for older people.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
• Encourage residents to maintain hobbies and interests and try new ones.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Work as part of a supportive care team to deliver person-centred care.
