Job summary

Peverel Court Care's Stone House Nursing Home is seeking a reliable Domestic/Kitchen Assistant to help maintain a clean, comfortable living space for residents and support our Chefs in delivering a beautiful dining experience.

You will work as part of the housekeeping and kitchen teams, engaging with residents, relatives and staff to uphold high standards of safety, care and service. This is a part-time role with 30 hours per week, four days a week, 8am–4pm with a half-hour unpaid break.

Responsibilities

• Promote good working practices and perform duties in accordance with policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Report accidents and follow reporting procedures.
• Interact with relatives, residents and staff as part of a front-of-house role.
• Assist with kitchen and housekeeping tasks to support a high standard of care.
