Job summary

Peverel Court Care's Stone House Nursing Home is seeking a reliable Domestic/Kitchen Assistant to help maintain a clean, comfortable living space for residents and support our Chefs in delivering a beautiful dining experience.

You will work as part of the housekeeping and kitchen teams, engaging with residents, relatives and staff to uphold high standards of safety, care and service. This is a part-time role with 30 hours per week, four days a week, 8am–4pm with a half-hour unpaid break.

What to expect in this role

Our housekeeping, kitchen and maintenance teams help our residents feel like they are at home and the contribution made by these teams is never undervalued. They are not kept at a distance; they play a key front of house role - interacting with relatives, residents, and other staff on a daily basis. Their dedication to delivering excellence; diligence; a sense of pride and attention to detail ensures the highest levels of comfort and safety for our residents in all areas of our homes.

30 hours per week
4 days per week 8am-4pm with half hour unpaid break (7.5hrs paid per day)
