Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our care team. You will maintain a clean, safe environment for Service Users and staff, supporting a high standard of cleanliness and infection control.

Qualifications

• Have an understanding of health and social care requirements.
• Experience in health and social care is beneficial.
• Able to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home's furniture, furnishings and fittings are clean.
• Clean all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of waste safely in line with requirements.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly; communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals per COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
