Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd seeks a Cook based at Byron House in Skegness to provide meals for 23 residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs, ensuring dignity and compassionate care.

Role is 35 hours per week with opportunities to learn and progress; DBS funded; comprehensive holiday pay; refer a friend bonus up to £250.

Ideally you’ll have a Food Hygiene/Catering qualification, though full training support is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills and food handling expertise.
• Understanding of dietary requirements for residents.
• Awareness of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages for residents according to dietary needs.
• Perform quality checks on food and storage.
• Plan menus considering resident preferences and requirements.
• Assist with food service to provide dignified dining experiences.
• Maintain stock records and procure supplies.
