Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd is seeking a caring Cook to join our Cherry Tree Lodge team in Lincoln. You will prepare meals and beverages, respect dietary requirements, and maintain hygienic kitchen practices to support 18 residents living with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

We offer progression opportunities with the Quality Matters team, fully funded DBS checks, comprehensive holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme up to £250. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook.
• Ability to follow dietary requirements and menus.
• Patient, caring approach to residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages to residents' dietary needs.
• Conduct quality checks on food and storage.
• Plan menus according to residents' preferences.
• Assist with food service to provide dignified dining experiences.
• Maintain stock records according to policy and food safety rules.
• Order stock and keep accurate records.
• Keep kitchen hygienic and assist with deep cleaning duties.
