Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking a caring and reliable Care Worker to support older residents with daily routines, personal care and companionship. You will help with meals, promote nutrition, and encourage independence in a values‑driven environment.

We value staff development and offer training, with PVG checks and SSSC registration supported as part of your career progression within CrossReach. This role requires upholding our Christian ethos and working on site in Scotland.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare or equivalent.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme.
• Registration with the SSSC.
• Willingness to work towards required registrations and values.
• Ability to work within a Christian ethos as part of our ethos.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
• Encourage independence and individual choice
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures
