Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Care Worker to support older adults in a Scottish care setting. You will build meaningful relationships, assist with daily living, meals and personal care while promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will join a team that values compassion, professional development, and inclusive practice. SVQ Level 3 is preferred; PVG checks and SSSC registration are required; UK work permissions apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in care welcomed but not essential.
• Demonstrates compassion and commitment to supporting older people.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3 and meet registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with meals and encourage healthy nutrition and hydration.
• Promote independence and encourage choice wherever possible.
• Support residents to take part in activities and hobbies they enjoy.
• Build trusted relationships with residents and their families.
• Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of care.
