Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. in Scotland is hiring a Care Worker to support older people with daily living, personal care and companionship, helping them live with dignity and independence.

You will be part of a team, follow care procedures, maintain records, and work toward an SVQ Level 3 while meeting PVG and SSSC requirements. The role values compassion, reliability and a respectful, person-centred approach. We offer training and development within a long-standing organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience welcome but not essential.
• You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC is required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
• Encourage independence and individual choice
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures
