Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking passionate Care Workers to support residents in Extra Care schemes across Tees Valley. You’ll join a friendly team to provide daily care, meals, and activities, helping residents live independently in their own apartments.

No formal qualifications are required; a kind attitude, good English, reliability and willingness to train are essential. You’ll receive comprehensive training and opportunities to progress through the Extra Care Academy.

Qualifications

• No experience or qualifications required to become a Care Worker.
• Must be kind, friendly and have good English communication.
• Reliable and flexible with the ability to use your initiative.
• Willingness to undertake necessary further training.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with household tasks and daily living activities.
• Assist with meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Follow care plans and report progress to managers.
• Provide personal care including washing, bathing and dressing.
• Support residents to live their best lives and engage in activities.
