Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a Care Worker to join a friendly, supportive team across Extra Care schemes where residents live independently in their own apartments.

You’ll assist residents with daily personal care, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to a caring community. Training and progression opportunities are available within the Extra Care Academy; the role is paid hourly with benefits and a 11 October 2026 closing date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with getting up in the morning and providing personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing.
• Helping with undressing and going to bed, and ensuring medications are taken as required.
• Putting resident wellbeing at the heart of the service and keeping managers and agencies informed of progress.
