Housing 21 is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Care Workers. You’ll support residents living independently in our Extra Care schemes, helping with daily tasks, meals, and personal care.

A positive attitude and good English are essential, and full training is provided. We offer competitive hourly pay of £13.48, a range of benefits including Holiday Pay and a Health Cash Plan, and an Extra Care Academy for career progression.

Qualifications

• No experience or formal qualifications required; positive attitude and kind manner.
• Commitment to undertake necessary training and development.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning and paying bills.
• Prepare meals and beverages as needed for residents.
• Encourage residents to follow agreed care plans and routines.
• Support getting up, personal care, and evening routines with sensitivity.
