Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is recruiting a 24-hour Level 2 Care and Support Worker for Hafan y Waun Residential Care Home in Aberystwyth. The role focuses on providing compassionate care, supporting residents with daily routines and activities, and contributing to a safe environment.

Full training is provided, with emphasis on kindness, patience, and resilience. The post is temporary, with salary pro-rata and subject to the 2026/27 pay award.

Qualifications

• Full training will be given.
• Kindness, patience, respect and resilience are valued.

Responsibilities

• Providing total care to clients according to daily care plans.
• Providing emotional support and reassurance to clients.
• Administering prescribed medications in line with policy and procedure.
• Assisting with daily records, cleaning, laundry and dining room service.
