Job summary

Moorlands Grange is a modern 40-bed care centre in Kirklees, operated in partnership with Locala Health Care. As a Support Worker, you will help vulnerable adults, ensuring quality care in line with policies and standards, and supporting residents to maintain independence and dignity.

You will check residents, assist with daily routines, update records, serve meals and provide personal care while engaging residents in activities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a relevant care setting.
• Possession of, or willingness to complete The Care Certificate.
• Literacy skills.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Check on residents and help them get ready for the day.
• Update paperwork and maintain residents’ records.
• Serve residents meals and ensure they are happy and comfortable.
• Provide personal care and engage residents in activities.
