Discovery is seeking a Support Worker in Taunton to support five men aged 50s-70s with profound learning needs. The role involves practical, compassionate care, personal support, and assisting with daily activities in a home setting.

Training is provided and there are opportunities for progression within Dimensions. Shifts include early, late, and sleep-ins, with a focus on respect, dignity and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with people and families.
• Basic IT skills for recording notes and training records.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, person-centred support to residents.
• Assist with personal care and health needs as required.
• Support residents with meals, activities, outings and social events.
• Use digital systems to record notes and training progress.
