Job summary

Wight Home Care in Ryde/East Cowes is seeking kind, reliable Care & Support Workers to help customers stay independent at home. You’ll travel between visits to provide daily living support, personal care, and friendly companionship.

No prior care experience is required; full paid training is provided, with ongoing development and opportunities to progress within the company. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to cover the local rota.

Job description

We’re looking for kind, caring and reliable people to join our friendly domiciliary care team, supporting customers in their own homes across Ryde and East Cowes.

As a Care & Support Worker, you’ll help people maintain their independence and continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes. Every day is different, but your support could include helping with daily routines, personal care and providing companionship and reassurance.

Working hours

Our care is provided throughout the day, so you’ll need to be able to work flexibly as part of a rota covering early mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Weekend availability is essential, and you will be required to work weekend shifts as part of your rota.

As you’ll be travelling between customers’ homes, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.

No experience? No problem.

You don’t need previous care experience to join us. What matters most is that you’re compassionate, dependable and genuinely want to help others.
