Job summary

Ils Case Management in Ipswich is looking for Support Workers to join Jamie's care team. Shifts run Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 19:00, with flexibility and the possibility of additional bank shifts to cover holidays and absences.

You will provide 2:1 daily living support, personal care, and manual handling, enabling Jamie to enjoy activities and social engagement. Sleep-in shifts may be required and DBS checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and challenging behaviour.
• 2:1 support with daily living and personal care including manual handling.
• Supervision during the day and some night attention.
• Supporting development and leisure activities with a positive approach.
• Collaborating with the family and current support team.
• Accompanying the family on holidays.

Responsibilities

• Experience with Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and challenging behaviour.
• 2:1 support with all aspects of daily living and personal care, which incorporates a lot of manual handling.
• Supervision throughout the day and some attention during the night.
• Contributing to Jamie’s ongoing development and leisure activities with a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Working alongside the family and current support team.
• Accompanying the family on holidays.
