Job summary

MHA is seeking a caring and reliable Care and Support Worker (Days) based at Callin Court, Chester. This permanent part-time role involves 28 hours per week with a salary of £13.79 per hour.

You will provide person-centred care to help older residents live independently with dignity, acting as a key worker and supporting daily tasks while promoting wellbeing and maintaining records. Training and DBS checks are provided.

Qualifications

• You will bring a caring and compassionate approach to supporting older people.
• You will need good communication and teamwork at all times.
• Willingness to undertake training including QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to meet residents' personal, social, emotional and practical needs.
• Act as a key worker for a group of service users and support their wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and use of aids following care plans and risk assessments.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy and independence.
• Support daily tasks like housekeeping, laundry, shopping and home management.
• Encourage participation in social activities to reduce isolation.
• Maintain accurate records in line with confidentiality policies.
• Work as part of a team and engage in meetings, training and appraisals.
