Job summary

MHA is looking for Care and Support Workers to join the Hebron Court team in Southampton. You will help older residents live independently with dignity, providing person-centred care aligned to individual plans and values.

The role covers relief, day, and night shifts at Hebron Court, aiming for wellbeing and safe, respectful care. You will be joining a supportive organisation offering DBS checks, training, career progression and benefits as part of a values-led service.

Qualifications

Caring and compassionate approach to older people.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
Willingness to undertake training and develop skills.

Responsibilities

Provide care and support to meet residents’ personal, social, emotional and practical needs in line with care plans.
Act as a key worker, supporting wellbeing and settled community life.
Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility and use of aids following risk assessments.
Promote dignity, privacy and independence; support daily tasks and home environment.
Encourage participation in social activities to reduce isolation.
Respond to calls for assistance and emergencies per scheme procedures.
Maintain confidential written and verbal records.
