Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for its residential service in Treharris, Wales East. The role involves providing practical and emotional support to empower residents to achieve personal goals, while respecting dignity and individuality.

You will be part of an empathetic team, receiving induction and ongoing training to support people with learning disabilities or complex care needs. A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care is preferred but all training will be provided.
• Enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals.
• Promote health, well-being and diverse beliefs in an inclusive way.
• Facilitate social, educational or work activities of the people we support.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties and personal care if needed.
• Maintain records and documents related to the care provided.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
